The Nushagak River has continued with strong King Salmon fishing. The Kulukuk River (where TNL has a semi-exclusive permit) has picked up for King fishing also. The Togiak, despite having high waters, has produced some good King Salmon fishing as well.
The Upper Nushagak River was too high and dirty to fish, however the K-pak and King Salmon tributaries cleaned up and provided some great Dolly Varden and Rainbow Trout fishing. The Agulapak continues to produce 24″ and 25 rainbows.
In addition to great King Salmon, Dolly, and Rainbow fishing – Guests at Tikchik continue to catch a ton of Sockeye Salmon at “The Falls” on the Nuyukuk River. It’s great to go home with a fish box full of fresh Bristol Bay salmon caught by you! We’re all looking forward to another great week at Tikchik.
