We are seeking skilled outboard mechanics with an extensive and diverse skillset who are eager to take on a variety of roles around the lodge. Whether maintaining our fleet of boats, assisting with lodge operations, or contributing to the guest experience, we welcome individuals with diverse skills and a can-do attitude. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic team in one of Alaska’s most remote and breathtaking locations.
Each meal is complemented by an array of freshly baked breads, pastries, and delightful desserts. Our talented bartender, Doctor John, will take your custom cocktail orders daily during your flight back to the lodge, ensuring your experience is perfectly curated. Our guests stay in luxurious, duplex cabins designed to provide all the comforts needed to unwind after a day of adventure. As a member of our hospitality team, you’ll be instrumental in delivering exceptional service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. From preparing cabins to providing outstanding guest care, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build your skills and translate your experience in a five-star luxury environment into future career opportunities.
Additionally, all crew have a day off each week to explore and enjoy the stunning beauty of Wood-Tikchik State Park during their seasonal employment.
Each large room has a separate entrance, private bathroom, independent heat and hot water and is fully carpeted. Most of our guest rooms have a queen bed and a single bed. We have 3 cabins (6 rooms) that have a queen bed and two singles.

Bristol Bay, Alaska, known as the "Salmon Factory of the World," offers unparalleled opportunities for anglers and guides. The region boasts five species of salmon—King, Sockeye, Chum, Pink, and Silver—along with seven freshwater species, including Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Arctic Grayling, Dolly Varden, Lake Trout, and Northern Pike.
There's no better way to expereince Alaska. As a fishing guide at Tikchik Narrows Lodge, you'll lead our guests through this world-class fishery, either from our main lodge or remote outcamps. Candidates must hold an OUPV 6-Pack Captain's License.

Our fleet includes three DeHavilland Beavers, a Cessna 206, and Cessna 185. At Tikchik, we go the extra mile(s)—whether it's extending a flight to give you a closer look at a grizzly bear, accommodating special fishing requests, or having our chef prepare your catch exactly to your liking.
