Out Camps

The Best Luxury Wilderness Experience in Western Alaska

Tikchik has a Native allotment lease along the upper stretches of the Nushagak River, which we call our “Sunset Camp”. Here, we set up a luxury outpost to host guides, a full time chef, and guests. This isolated access point means our Tikchik anglers enjoy fully exclusive fishing in a truly remote setting. Nothing sparks wonder like this fishing in complete solitude. It's like going back in time. At Sunset Camp, we have a world-class river teeming with all five Pacific salmon species, voracious rainbow trout that hunt mice, dolly varden, Arctic grayling, and even northern pike.

Angstman Family Cabin

Home Cooked Meals

From time to time Angstman family graciously allows guests to visit their cabin in Wood-Tikchik State Park. At these special lunches, home-cooked salmon is more than a meal; it’s a tradition. Freshly caught from the pristine waters nearby, the salmon is seasoned simply, letting the natural flavors shine, and cooked to perfection.
