Living in the Alaska Wilderness

At Tikchik Narrows Lodge, we are fully equipped to support our dedicated team of 36 staff members, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Our facilities include comfortable on-site housing for all staff, promoting a well-rested and attentive team. We have a walk-in freezer and cooler essential for storing fresh ingredients and maintaining our high culinary standards. Our greenhouse provides fresh produce for our meals. We also have a specialized water treatment facility that ensures a constant supply of clean and safe water for both guests and staff.

Our generator buildings provide reliable power sources critical in our remote location, while our maintenance repair shop allows our team to swiftly address any equipment needs, keeping operations running smoothly. We also have a dedicated space for managing aircraft parts and supplies, as well as a large laundry facility to ensure that linens and staff uniforms are always clean and fresh.

Given our complete isolation, all supplies, including fuel for our generators, boats, aircraft, and propane, must be flown in, while waste is transported out. With a fuel storage capacity of 20,000 gallons, we prioritize sustainability while making every effort to ensure your stay is comfortable amid the stunning wilderness of Bristol Bay, Alaska.
